Hello dear reader again, today we are going to review a little about what we have studied in class, only it will be through the presentations of our classmates.
First in our class on Tuesday we had a small dynamic with our teacher. Which helped us a lot to understand the methods that we have studied with him in this registrer.
You can watch the next video about our dynamic.
Now, let's start with the topics.
As the first group with the topic The Grammar Translation. They explained a little about the topic, in which the student learns about the grammatical rules of the language he wants to learn through his native language.
Then our group talked about TPR (Total Physical Response). In which we mention that James Asher is considered the father or founder of this method.
This method is used to teach children to adults about a foreign language and it is done through movements. For example, we as a group did the dynamic of teaching the parts of the body with the classic game of "Simon says." In this way the student begins to have knowledge of the parts of the body by practicing listening and doing movement.
Finally, another group demonstrated "The Silent Way" method.
Which the technique to address the topic was quite interesting and creative.
In this method as the name suggests, this approach requires the teacher to use their silence as a tool to develop learner autonomy and encourage active student participation.
We had a pretty creative week as our classmates put into practice a little about how we can teach people about another language.
Don't miss next week we will be seeing more interesting exhibitions.
See you soon! 馃槈馃摎
